“The Wine House”, it is lounge cum fine dining place in the Good Earth City Center, Sec 50, Gurugram. They have their menu set for the Italian, Lebanese, Continental and Asian Cuisines. As per the name suggests, “The Wine House”, they got a great deal with wines for you. Just to mention for the sake of the review, they got White wines, Red wines, Rose wines and Sangrias in all the three i.e. White, Red and Rose. Other than these wines, they got sparkling wines, scotch, whiskey, single malts, cognac, gin, vodka, beer, rum, tequila, cocktails and mocktails for you to have.

While my time here for dinner, I had a glass of rose wine sangria and a glass of zinfandel (rose wine by sula). That was what I had with my meal to quest my thirst and give it a proper justification for a dinner at this place.

For my dinner I had:

To start of with, there was “Cream of Mushroom Soup”. The soup was purely devised with mushroom puree and cream with vegetable stock.

Next in line were kebabs. Corn fritters and hara bhara kebab were served. Corn fritters were very succulent, though the hara bhara kebabs were somewhere lacking in taste, this is what I felt. Corn fritters were filled with sweet corns, peanuts, basils and sun-dried tomatoes while the hara bhara kebabs had the filling of deep fried vegetables. The kebabs were served with mint chutneys.

Another dish that I had for starters was a hummus and falafel platter. The platter had thin pita breads, fresh falafels served with dips i.e. hummus and tzatziki sauce.

Coming to next course there was a mixed sauce pasta with garlic breads. It was a mix red and white sauce pasta, topped with a herb and grated cheese. The platter was very well presented and of course the garlic bread.

After having the scrumptious meal, it was bound to happen to have a cherry on the top, I ordered for two desserts i.e. brownie sundae and chocolate lasagne slice. Somehow I was a bit disappointed with the desserts, may be because of the order I place or may be some other factor. Both the desserts were very much alike in terms of treat the eyes or the taste buds.

Overall, it was a delightful meal I had here. The staff was courteous, hospitality was up to the mark, ambience was speaking for itself, portions of dishes were very appropriate.

It was 4/5 experience here.

  1. Thanks for this excellent article. Also a thing is that many digital cameras arrive equipped with some sort of zoom lens that enables more or less of that scene to generally be included by simply ‘zooming’ in and out. All these changes in focus length usually are reflected inside the viewfinder and on huge display screen at the back of the very camera.

  2. Wow that was unusual. I just wrote an extremely long comment but after I clicked submit my comment didn’t show up. Grrrr… well I’m not writing all that over again. Anyways, just wanted to say fantastic blog!

  3. I do not even know how I ended up here, but I thought this post was great. I do not know who you are but certainly you are going to a famous blogger if you aren’t already 😉 Cheers!

  4. Hi just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know a few of the pictures aren’t loading correctly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different internet browsers and both show the same outcome.
