Philtre is casual dining, lounge, bar in sector 29 of Gurugram (formerly Gurgaon). As most of the dine-ins in the same locality are having their own breweries, Philtre also stayed true to USP of sector 29. Gurugram. House breweries mostly brew two or three common beers and one or two as their signature beers by adding some different essence, flavours or ingredients to it so as to differentiate it from other.
Coming back to Philtre, the main focus of the post, the area is spread on two floors of the building i.e first floor and the terrace. The ambience of the place is very appealing and eye catchy. Their menu contains dishes from the modern Indian cuisine. Average cost for two for this place as suggested by them is Rs. 1,500/- approximately.
Crowd here one can see will mostly be of young age group, that be 21-35. But that doesn’t mean others can’t enjoy here or you wont see different age group people here. Definitely there would be younger and older people too.
One can here enjoy the live screening of sports combined with the fresh brewed beer they offer. Other than that you can also enjoy the succulent cocktails they got to offer alloyed with the snacks, starters, main course; veg/ non veg. I would also provide a few of the recommended items from the menu.
- Dal Makhani Kulcha
- Chole Chawal bites
- Soya Naanlets
- Rajma Galouti served on Ulte Tawa Paratha nachos with achari mayo
- Aloo Kofta in Banarasi Curry
- Philtre’s signature Dal Makhani
- Garden’s green Mix Veg, Golden Onion in Cashew nut curry
- Blood and Sand
- Old Fashioned
P.S Only vegetarian dishes recommended as whatever is tried and tasted, only those are to mentioned on the post so as to stay true to the spirit of the fact. Everything’s out of my personal experience here.
