Pa pa ya, another feather in the cap for Zoravar Kalra. The restaurant offers food from Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Pan-Asian cuisines. There ain’t many places in delhi that offers good Japanese food, Pa pa ya is certainly one of those few places where you can give a treat to your taste buds for the mentioned cuisine. Fyi, the restaurant is on the 4th floor of select city walk mall in Saket.
Also to add, the ambience is done very neatly, the bar counter in the centre, there’s a wine cellar in one corner adjacent to the private seatings, seating capacity is also good, that dome in center above the bar will definitely grab your attention.
Coming to food, watermelon palate cleanser was served first to start with and neutralise the taste for the food to be served. Then came our order, we started with 2 portions of edamame, the way those edamame were served was impressive though the quantity we felt was a bit less. We also had Thai ching mai curry with steamed rice, there were a few more dishes but the curry was the best of the lot.
I felt the service staff was lacking somewhat, may be because the place was too busy.
Ambience 5/5
Staff 4/5
Food 5/5
Service 4/5
